Feb 2011 - New Offices, New Training Facilities

Training rooom PhotoWith our new offices come new training facilities, new qualifications for our trainers and improvements to the services we can offer customers.

Being huge believers that education is the path to enlightenment (well, being better able to do your job anyway), the training team themselves have been back to school to brush up on their training skills. After completing a gruelling course, with plenty of exams, our customers will be pleased to note that all those that attended the course attained the highest possible pass mark, and can now call themselves qualified trainers.

To our knowledge, we are the only company within the sector that takes internal training as seriously and makes sure that our trainers are qualified, as well as being the product and recruitment specialists you would expect. Why would you trust a training team that didn’t keep their own knowledge up to date?

As well as being qualified, and justifiably proud of this we didn’t stop there. All our trainers are also now members of the institute of IT trainers. It shows our commitment to training by keeping in touch with the latest in training methodology, continued learning and constant improvement of the service we offer to the customer. The membership is only awarded to those individuals who are qualified as trainers, or who are qualified by experience.  Again, this is unheard of in our sector and  again proves the commitment Voyager has to the training department, the service it provides and the ongoing support of our customers.

Recently, when Voyager  moved offices a major consideration was to the training facilities that we can offer. The new office has a dedicated training suite which is by far the most up to date, and comfortable training suite that Voyager had ever been able to offer. There is also an impressive array of drinks to choose from as well as the excellent training!

As a result of these changes, we are making some changes to the prices of training. However, we’re happy to announce that the price to have training in our beautiful new offices is now CHEAPER than before! We want people to come and see us so much and benefit from the higher quality of training offered when carried out in its own purpose built facilities, that we have dropped the price of a bespoke dedicated day in Basingstoke. We are however, making the difficult decision to increase the price of onsite training for the first time in many years, partly to reflect the increased costs of travel and accommodation (there is a new training price list available) But why would you not want to have training in our dedicated training suite, away from phones and other distractions?.
